Refund & Returns Policy

This Refund & Returns Policy explains how returns, refunds and restocking are handled for purchases made on Worm Gear Motors Online. Worm Gear Motors Online is a trading name of Drive Outlet Megastore Limited (Company No. 16376324), registered in England & Wales.


1. 30-Day Return Window

Return period: You may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date shown by the carrier tracking or delivery confirmation.

Condition of items: To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, uninstalled, and returned in original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and included parts. Items returned damaged due to inadequate packaging may be rejected or subject to a reduced refund.


2. How to Start a Return

To start a return, please email [email protected] within the 30-day return window with the following:

  • Order number
  • Product name / SKU
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (required for damaged/incorrect items)

If approved, we will provide return instructions. Please do not send items back without approval, as unapproved returns may be refused.


3. Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. The customer must arrange and pay for return postage, packaging and insurance where appropriate.

We strongly recommend using a tracked, insured service. We are not responsible for returns that are lost or damaged in transit.


4. Restocking Fee

Restocking fee: Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

The restocking fee is deducted from the refund amount after the returned item has been received and inspected.


5. Inspection & Refund Timing

Once your return is received, we will inspect the item. If your return is approved:

  • Refund method: Refunds are issued back to the original payment card/method.
  • Processing time: Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after inspection and approval.

Please note: banking providers may take additional time to post the refund to your account after we have processed it.


6. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Items that have been installed, used, or altered
  • Items returned without original packaging or missing parts/accessories
  • Custom or special-order products (where clearly stated at time of purchase)
  • Items returned outside the 30-day return window

7. Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Items

If your item arrives damaged, incorrect, or with missing parts, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected] and include your order number and clear photos of:

  • Outer packaging
  • Shipping label
  • The item and any visible damage
  • Any missing components (where applicable)

We will assess the issue and advise the next steps.


8. Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. If the order has already been dispatched, it will need to be returned in line with this policy.
